Notes from a Conference (Part Two)

Our Senior Vice President of National Operations, Jim White, reports from the Staffing Industry Analysts Executive Forum. He was part of a three-member HSS team that attended the annual event, joining Mihaela L. Pla, Senior Vice President Southern Region, and Tim McPherson, President.

The Conference was a great opportunity to network with peers, share knowledge, and explore issues relevant to how we can better serve clients. One of the top takeaways was new approaches to recruiting top talent and increasing speed of delivery – incredibly relevant during the current labor crunch facing hotels and resorts.

In spite of the headwinds, the future of staffing is extremely positive and we look forward to continuing to provide the hospitality industry with diverse and impactful staffing solutions.

It was an exciting event with record attendance. After 25 years in the business I can safely say that the staffing industry is all about relationship building. As this was the first time since the Pandemic that we were able to get back together for this big event, the power of in-person interaction can never be understated.

Much like the hospitality industry itself, the human touch matters.
