From its foundation in 1990 as a janitorial services company working within the hospitality sector, HSS recognized the need for a reliable back-of-house workforce. We also recognized the need for compliance with immigration, IRS, and state and federal labor department. In time, Hospitality Staffing Solutions grew to be the standard-setting staffing and services provider of choice to a demanding and changing industry.
In 2020, HSS was acquired by KBS, the nation’s largest privately-held facility services company. KBS partners with industry leaders in a wide range of industry sectors including retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and shipping and logistics. As part of KBS, HSS is proud to offer clients in hospitality new levels of support, innovation, and scope of services.
During the height of he pandemic, HSS was able to work with parent company KBS to redeploy its workforce to essential roles that kept pharmacies and shipping centers up and running. This helped HSS maintain a pool of workers who are now re-entering the hospitality workforce.
