Kevin Murphy EVP & Division CFO

Kevin joined HSS in November 2014. He has over 25 years of accounting and financial management experience including a focus on planning, mergers & acquisitions, profitability analysis and process improvement. Prior to joining HSS, Kevin spent 13 years with ChoicePoint and LexisNexis Risk Solutions as CFO for Signature Information Solutions and Controller of the Data Services vertical, and held roles with Siemens Energy & Automation and in public accounting. Kevin is a CPA and received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University.

Martin Mazy EVP, National Sales and Operations

Martin joined Hospitality Staffing Solutions in November 2007, after 23 years working in Hospitality, finance, sales and entrepreneurial endeavors. Over the last 16 years at HSS, Martin has developed a team of leaders, most of which tenure with the company surpasses ten years. Having grown HSS West region with his team and by promoting growth and ascension through hard work and dedication, Martin has taken on the responsibility of EVP-National Sales and Operations with a goal to continue focusing on strengthening HSS operationally and forging new growth of the company.

Randy Oloffson SVP

Randy joined HSS in 2002 as regional manager and holds over 20 years of experience in the hotel industry. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Oloffson served as Director of Banquets and Housekeeping at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, and Miami. Additionally, Mr. Oloffson served as Hotel Night Manager and Banquet Manager at the Sheraton Tara at Monarch Place in Springfield, Massachusetts, and General Manager at the Plaza Club in Worcester, Massachusetts. A graduate of Western Illinois University, Mr. Oloffson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel management.

Mihaela Pla SVP, Southern Region and National Accounts

Mihaela joined HSS in 2007. Her early career in Hospitality includes Marriott International and Remington Hotels. She started in Staffing as an Account Supervisor for the Orlando Market and was soon promoted to Area Manager. In her Area Manager role, through exceptional customer service and a leadership focused on creating the best teams, she grew Orlando to be HSS’s largest market. She continued to grow professionally to a Director of Operations and later an Area Vice President overseeing the entire state of Florida. Today, Mihaela is our Senior Vice President for the Southern Region.

Claudia Brancato Regional Vice President, West

Claudia started her hospitality career with Ritz Carlton before joining HSS in 2009. She started as an Account Supervisor based in Orange County, quickly demonstrated her capabilities and soon transitioned to San Diego, where she assumed the role of Area Manager. Over the years, Claudia consistently embraced new challenges, steadily ascending the ranks to become a Regional Director. Notably, she also held the significant position of AVP, a role in which she not only managed an expanded territory encompassing all of Southern California but also oversaw Task Force operations in Montana and Wyoming, along with a myriad of other vital projects. With her new promotion as Regional Vice President, Claudia’s responsibilities will extend to cover the entirety of the West Region.

Robert Lara Regional Vice President, Midwest

Since 2015, Robert has been an integral part of Hospitality Staffing Solutions (HSS), demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities and a profound skill set in recruiting, customer engagement, sales, and operations. Throughout his eight-year tenure at HSS, he has consistently pursued innovative solutions focused on enhancing the experiences of both customers and employees, resulting in substantial and impactful outcomes. His dedication to finding customer-centric and employee-driven approaches reflects his commitment to delivering significant results within the ever-evolving hospitality industry.

Russell Subock Regional Vice President, North

Russ joined HSS in 2011 as an Area Manager for Baltimore and has over 20 years in the Hospitality industry. He has since grown his territories of responsibility from North Carolina to Boston totaling 7 states. Prior to joining HSS, Russ worked in the restaurant industry managing a fine dining Italian restaurant. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and a minor in business from Towson University.
