Tim McPherson, President, CEO

Tim joined HSS in August 2016. Prior to joining HSS, Tim held a wide range of executive positions throughout the staffing industry with a proven track record integration, field branch operations, outsourced project sales, and VMS/MSP program support.

Tim has been recognized on two separate occasions as a member of the “Staffing 100” by Staffing Industry Analysts. This prestigious award recognizes his work history spanning the entire spectrum of the staffing industry, and his influence on the organizations he has led to increasing levels of success. In 2014, he was additionally recognized as one of the Top 8 innovative leaders within the OnLine staffing market space.

Bill Carpenter COO/CFO
Throughout his 30-year career, Bill has worked with diverse client and employer organizations in numerous industries to create and execute strategy, operating plans, and projects and initiatives to drive growth and profitability, and to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Bill joined HSS in May 2014. Prior to joining HSS, Bill held executive positions in professional service firms, including COO of McGladrey’s Business Consulting practice, Regional Director of Business Development at Resources Global Professionals, Managing Director in Management Consulting at BearingPoint, Vice President and Regional Director in charge of Sales and Operations for Randstad North America’s flagship market, and providing consulting, tax and audit services while at Arthur Andersen & Co. He received his Master of Accounting Science and Bachelor of Science, Accountancy at the University of Illinois.
Luke Lindahl, SVP, Operations
Luke joined HSS in 2009. He brings over 12 years of financial management experience and expertise to the HSS Organization with 9 of those years in a Hospitality and Conferencing Industry. With HSS, Luke has directed all financial aspects of the business including accounting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, Information Systems, Internal Controls, and monitoring of financial performance. Luke has extensive international financial management, accounting, and reporting experience. Prior to joining HSS, Luke was the Global Finance Manager of the GSMC, Ltd. The Global Mobile Association based in London, Finance Manager of Meditech Media, Ltd, a leader in Medical Education based in London, and Corporate Controller of Intervect USA, LLC., an Equipment Manufacturing Company based in Skellefteå, Sweden. Luke holds an MBA degree from Kennesaw State University in International Financial Management and Accounting and a BBA degree from the University of Central Florida.
Karla Dougherty, RVP Central
Karla joined HSS in 2006. She spent her early career in Hospitality with Intercontinental Hotels Group in Nicaragua. She joined the staffing industry after finishing her MBA at Florida International University. After her success in delivering exceptional service and expanding the south Florida market, she was promoted to Area Manager of the Midwest Region based in Chicago, where she continues the grow. Before becoming a Vice President for the Central Region, Karla took an important role as Field Support/ Recruiting Manager developing several projects for the success of the company. In addition to 10 years of strong operations and business development experience; Karla brings her passionate, servant and inspiring leadership to her team and her unconditional commitment to exceptional service to HSS customers.
Randy Oloffson, RVP North

Randy joined HSS Hospitality Solutions in 2002 as regional manager and holds over 20 years of experience in the hotel industry. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Oloffson served as Director of Banquets and Housekeeping at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, and Miami. Additionally, Mr. Oloffson served as Hotel Night Manager and Banquet Manager at the Sheraton Tara at Monarch Place in Springfield, Massachusetts, and General Manager at the Plaza Club in Worcester, Massachusetts. A graduate of Western Illinois University, Mr. Oloffson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel management.

Michelle Sims RVP, Southwest
Michelle joined HSS in December 2015. Prior to joining HSS, she held a Vice President position with commercial staffing firms where she gained many years of multi-state and multi-site leadership. Through her career, Michelle has held roles of Regional Vice President, Human Resources Director, Training & Development Director, Area Manager, Regional Marketing Director, and Business Development Manager in various industries including food & beverage hospitality, industrial laundry and professional services. Michelle received her BBA in Marketing at Texas A&M University in College Station and continued her education at Houston Baptist University receiving her MBA with a focus in Human Resources.
Laura Jean RVP Southeast

Laura Jean joined HSS March 2016 with 28 years experience in the staffing industry, the last 23 years with the largest international human resources capital firm, Adecco. Laura began her career in the industry as a recruiter immediately following earning her BA in English Literature from New York University. In her last position Laura was a Regional Vice President in New York managing a team of focused on winning and growing exclusive partnership accounts. Her customer base spanned a wide range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, customer service and finance. Known for her hands on approach with colleagues and customers Laura is committed to building long term mutually successful business relationships through customized service designed to achieve customers’ business goals.

Martin Mazy RVP West
Martin joined HSS Hospitality Solutions in November 2007, after 25 years in hotel property management. Beginning his career in guest services at Hyatt Regency Oak Brooke, Mr. Mazy later gained experience in international resort management as General Manager of Solymar Beach Resort in Cancun. He has an extensive background in operation start ups, conversions, and has operated multiple hotels, resorts, and condominiums throughout his career.
Gisela Gomez
Kevin Murphy
Kevin joined HSS in November 2014. He has over 18 years of accounting and financial management experience including focus on planning, mergers & acquisitions, profitability analysis and process improvement. Prior to joining HSS, Kevin spent 13 years with ChoicePoint and LexisNexis Risk Solutions as CFO for Signature Information Solutions and Controller of the Data Services vertical, and held roles with Siemens Energy & Automation and in public accounting. Kevin is a CPA and received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University.
