Developing the HSS Team
Insights Into a Hotel Housekeeping Team
HSS has always valued its team because we know that our clients are looking for more than just staff; they need people that are truly invested in the comfort and safety of guests visiting properties nationwide. We interviewed HSS staff working behind the scenes at some of our largest clients. Their hard work and dedication form the backbone of HSS and are now more important than ever as the hospitality industry continues to recover from the pandemic.
Here are some standout quotes from the HSS team that offer their insights into what it’s like to work for HSS and it’s clients.
On working in the hotel industry:
You have to have the desire to do the job right. We all come with the intention to do the job right and do it with excellence. Working in a hotel you have to pay close attention to detail and give a little more so that things always shine as a result of your work.
On working with HSS:
HSS opened opportunities for me. It was a job that really gave me stability. They’ve given me respect and understanding. I love working for this company. All the people who work here open their hands and hearts. I’m really pleased to be here and I want to grow with HSS.
They have focused on keeping employees growing by motivating them, following up and driving them. Employees work together with HSS and always get a helping hand. You feel supported when you can talk to any representative and they are there to listen to you.
On growing in the hospitality industry:
My experience is that in a year and eight months they promoted me to different areas. And that has continued. And HSS is always asking me if I’m comfortable in a position. If I’m happy. This has really driven me to continue to grow and improve and grow with the company and in this industry.
As hotels and resorts continue to recover, HSS and its team will be here to help our clients grow through hard work, dedication, and knowing that this industry offer opportunities to everyone!
