Housekeeping Week 2022

Housekeeping week is a celebration of all that is special about our industry. After all, hard-working housekeeping teams represent more than a clean room — they create a home away from home. The care and attention that housekeepers put into their work, creates trust and joy for people traveling for business and leisure.

We celebrate housekeepers because we know how important it is and also how hard the work is. Many people in hospitality started out as housekeepers. From managers to GMs to leaders at HSS, knowing first hand the hard work and dedication to the job means that we put an extra emphasis on celebrating the role this week and throughout the year.

Housekeeping week is an opportunity to not only celebrate the great housekeeping team members, but to celebrate what is special about our industry: bringing joy to people’s lives and the opportunity to grow within an industry with a bright future.
